Our high contrast display with large format clock makes reading time and program information clearly legible, even from afar.

On the front panel a headphone socket is provided along with a line input allowing easy connection of auxiliary audio devices. A useful function is that the headphone volume is ‘remembered’ independently from the main speaker volume, so when headphones are plugged in the volume reverts to the last used level.

On the rear panel we’ve provided two pairs of high quality gold-plated phono sockets. The first provides output for recording or hook-up to secondary systems and the second provides an additional input for the connection of a CD/DVD/MP3 player or TV.

Rather than plastics the R2i enclosure is handcrafted from wood based materials which we know give the best sound quality from our years designing loudspeaker systems. Clad in a choice of walnut veneer or high gloss lacquers, this material also feels natural and good to touch.

Using our own custom designed RotoDial control system, controls are laid out in an easy to use fashion that feels good to use and importantly adds to the stylish look of R2i. Just behind the RotoDial we’ve provided an integrated iPod Dock which supports and charges all iPod models produced from January 2004 to date. iPod Shuffle and other type MP3 players can be easily connected using either the front or rear auxiliary inputs.

Completing R2i is a compact remote control that enables all key R2i and iPod functions to be set and operated from the comfort of a chair or bed.
