Tivoli Audio Model One Digital Radio - Great Sound and More
Tivoli Audio is an American company founded in 2000 by Tom DeVesto and audio giant Henry Kloss who noticed a gap in the consumer market for a high quality, well designed and affordable AM/FM radio.Henry Kloss is famous for being the founder of several iconic speaker brands such as Acoustic Research,KLH and Advent.Henry, after a brief retirement designed the Tivoli Audio Model One and Model Two radios in 2000 using MOSFET technology to increase sensitivity.
The Tivoli Audio Model One was designed to provide an affordable yet high performance table radio with an emphasis on receiving FM radio in congested, urban locations while keeping the ability to pick out distant or low power stations. The sound of the Model One was also the outcome of Henry Kloss' lifelong work with small full range speaker systems.Having established themselves as category leaders in the tabletop radio market,Tivoli Audio went on over the years to expand their range to include tabletop music systems and portable radios.
Under new management in 20I6,Tivoli released their ART line,The Orb and The Cube. Also part of the new releases is the Model One Digital which has a number of feature upgrades that feed the needs of today's radio listener.Potentially the most important addition is the WiFi enablement which allows for streaming and internet radio.Bluetooth is another new convenient feature to connect your phone or tablet to the Model One.Multi-room playback is available with multiple Art product options.Multiple colour options are available in furniture grade wood, brushed aluminium and flannel cloth speaker grille.
What makes the Tivoli Audio Model One stand out is the legendary sonic performance. The classic Model One astounded originally for its size and price. The new Model One Digital is even more powerful and gives a decent bass thump thanks to a 3.5 inch rear slotted port.Radio is a very important part of many peoples lives and the Model One Digital gives exceptional performance and value to today's radio listener.
