The ATH-AL5NC’s specially designed 53 mm drivers generate a wide, detailed soundstage with the natural presentation that only open-back headphones can deliver. The open housings also prevent heat from building up around the ears and keep the headphones light (240 g) for all-day wearing comfort. The built-in microphone is perfect for virtual meetings and in-game communication, while the rechargeable battery provides up to 75 hours of continuous playback—and up to 8 hours with just a 15-minute charge.*

With the unique Audio-Technica Connect app, you can access an uncommon array of customization tools right on your phone, including a low latency mode that combats annoying audio lag when you’re gaming or watching videos. We’ve also included a 1.2 m (3.9′) cable with 3.5 mm (1/8″) stereo mini-plug and in-line mic and control for times when you’d prefer a wired connection.

To further improve the listening experience and help you focus at home (when distracted by the HVAC system, outside traffic noise, or other ambient sounds), the headphones also offer a noise-reduction function,** conveniently operated via a button in the right earcup.
