Big Sound Without the Big System

The Klipsch The Fives II take everything that made the original Fives so successful and push the concept considerably further. These compact powered speakers combine Klipsch’s unmistakable horn-loaded sound with modern streaming, Dolby Atmos and HDMI eARC, creating a complete stereo entertainment system without the need for a separate amplifier or AV receiver.

The result is a pair of speakers that can handle music, television, movies and gaming with remarkable versatility while retaining the dynamic, energetic character that defines Klipsch.

It's the Klipsch Sound, Only Reimagined

At the heart of The Fives II is a 5.25-inch Jet Cerametallic woofer paired with a 1-inch titanium tweeter mounted to a 90° x 90° Tractrix horn. This familiar Klipsch approach gives the speakers their lively presentation, excellent efficiency and impressive sense of scale.

A new one-piece BMC baffle provides a more rigid platform for the drivers while its curved profile helps reduce diffraction and broaden the soundstage. Klipsch has also refined the acoustic design to produce cleaner bass and greater definition than the previous generation.

Powered by Onkyo

One of the biggest changes with The Fives II is hidden behind the speakers. Klipsch has partnered with Onkyo to develop an entirely new electronics platform, bringing sophisticated processing and connectivity to the system.

The result is much more than simply a pair of powered speakers. The Fives II incorporate advanced decoding and processing designed to make the system equally comfortable handling two-channel music and immersive home cinema.

Dolby Atmos from Two Speakers

The Fives II bring Dolby Atmos into a compact stereo system, creating a more immersive and spacious presentation from just two speakers. This makes them particularly appealing for listeners who want dramatically better television and movie sound without filling their room with multiple speakers.

HDMI eARC provides a straightforward connection to a compatible television, while HDMI 2.1 connectivity allows high-quality audio and modern video formats to pass through the system.

Streaming and Connectivity

The Fives II are designed to be the centre of a modern listening system. Built-in streaming support includes Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and Qobuz Connect, alongside Bluetooth connectivity.

For physical sources, there is also USB audio, optical digital, analogue RCA and a dedicated phono input with a built-in phono stage. That means a turntable can be connected directly without requiring a separate phono preamplifier. A subwoofer output is also provided for those wanting to extend the system's low-frequency performance.

A Serious Hi-Fi System in a Compact Package

The Fives II make an especially strong case for listeners who want high-quality sound without the complexity traditionally associated with a separates system. There is no external amplifier to accommodate, no receiver required and far fewer boxes and cables to worry about.

The combination of Klipsch’s dynamic horn technology, modern digital processing and extensive connectivity makes them equally at home on a dedicated hi-fi rack, desktop, media cabinet or alongside a television.

Why We Recommend the Klipsch The Fives II, here's Why...

The Fives II are one of the most complete powered speaker systems Klipsch has produced. They deliver the immediacy and scale associated with the brand while adding the connectivity and convenience expected from a modern all-in-one system.

We particularly like their ability to bridge the gap between traditional hi-fi and home entertainment. With a built-in phono stage, extensive streaming, HDMI eARC and Dolby Atmos, The Fives II can replace a surprisingly complicated system while still delivering a genuinely engaging musical performance.

A New Generation of Powered Klipsch

The Fives II take the successful powered-speaker formula and give it a serious technological upgrade. With Onkyo-engineered electronics, Dolby Atmos, HDMI 2.1, extensive streaming and Klipsch’s unmistakable horn-loaded sound, they offer an unusually broad range of capabilities from a simple two-speaker system.

For anyone looking for a compact, powerful and highly connected stereo system that can handle both serious music listening and modern home entertainment, The Fives II deserve a very close look.
