M&K Sound’s X10 THX Ultra II Dual 10-Inch Subwoofer has been tailored specifically to fulfil the brand’s ambitious performance requirements. Open baskets allow free air circulation, which reduces mechanical distortion by removing any trapped compressed air behind the cone.

Cast baskets also offer a very rigid connection to the cabinet and improved heat dissipation from the motor system for reduced power compression.

The MK Sound X10 THX Ultra II Dual 203 mm Subwoofer features dual 10” drive units, providing 156 sq. in. of cone area to move and control air, which is equivalent to a single 15” driver.

The Distortion Killers

The M&K Sound X Series implements aluminium AC shorting rings in the magnet system and aluminium pole spacers above the pole piece. These devices greatly enhance the X Series subwoofers’ ability to produce exceptionally fine dynamic bass detail with high precision at all levels, as the drivers maintain full control and respond instantly to the incoming signal, ensuring unparalleled accuracy and authority in the bottom octaves.
