Cambridge Audio SR 20 Stereo Receiver - Ticks The Boxes

The Cambridge Audio Topaz SR 20 is a very well featured and powerful stereo receiver from a company with a great heritage in providing great hifi sound since 1968.Their products are constant award-winning quality that offers great value and they keep getting better at it.

The Topaz range is Cambridge Audio's entry-level range. However, with their high standards the Topaz range is far from entry-level.The SR 20 for it's price  is a high powered gem that delivers in spades in not only audio quality but features and convenience. This receiver delivers 100 watts per channel, quality watts powerful enough to give good drive capability to almost all loudspeakers to give you great live sounding dynamics.

The SR 20 also covers most bases when it comes to connecting all your favourite sources.Firstly being a receiver,it has an inbuilt AM/FM tuner, and then it accommodates your turntable for the vinyl experience with an inbuilt phono preamplifier.....something not offered over the last 20 years with amplifiers. And then there is the digital input stage incorporating an onboard digital to analogue converter which allows you to connect your TV to your hifi system via digital optical......the only way late model TVs output their audio signal. Then there are the extra digital inputs to allow digital streaming, etc. and an extra 2 analogue inputs for other components. There is also a direct MP3 input conveniently located on the front panel.

The Cambridge Audio SR 20 stereo receiver is truly a special sounding piece of kit.A great way to enjoy all your sounds with high fidelity sound for an exceptionally reasonable price. You will struggle to find a better value for money solution to achieving quality sound and connectivity at this price. It does tick the boxes.
