The Pro Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB turntable is based on the famous and top selling Pro Ject Debut Carbon turntable.It has been upgraded in several areas to improve both sonic performance and convenience.

Firstly, to improve sound quality the cartridge has been upgraded from the Ortofon OM10 to the Ortofon 2M Red.There is a marked difference in definition and soundstage with the 2M Red.There is also the acrylic platter which reduces resonance and as a $140 upgrade proves its worth.As for the convenience section,it comes in the form of the Speed Box which allows press of the button switching from 33 rpm to 45 rpm.
