Q Acoustics BT3 Award Winning Active Speakers

The Q Acoustics website is very straightforward on a simple fact.....the design brief is to produce the world's best speakers "for the money".They have been winning multiple awards for their designs over the last couple of years which would certainly ratify their claims.The Q Acoustics BT3 is an interesting and exceptionally versatile product.They are powered stereo speakers with a number of analogue and digital inputs plus Aptx Bluetooth streaming.The question is....are they a replacement for a soundbar,wireless speakers,an Ipod dock alternative,or powered stereo speakers?.....fact is,they are all of the above.

They come with a powerful 50 watt per channel amplifier,inbuilt Digital to Analogue converter to decode digital sources,a Bluetooth receiver and subwoofer out if you want to build on the system and expand the already healthy bass output.Input wise they have a pair of phono sockets for hooking up a turntable with a phono preamp.,3.5 mm jack for phone or auxiliary input,and digital input for TV connection.
