THE FIRST NEW VINYL JUKEBOX IN 20 YEARS

A UK company called Sound Leisure has manufactured a new vinyl jukebox.The company is already famous for it's CD playing models.Company Director,Chris Black said that finding people to construct a vinyl jukebox proved tricky,with most of the team in their 70's and 80's.

The company says that it is not going to be a mass-produced item.Because the jukeboxes are handmade,there might be 50 a year to slake the demand of collectors and the very hippest watering holes.These new jukeboxes should be something to behold - it promises decent audio fidelity and a 140-selection player mechanism.

The company has named the Rocket Series after "Rocket 88",the 1951 song that's often hailed as the first ever Rock'N'Roll song.
