THE LONG AWAITED ROLLING STONES MONO BOXSET

The Rolling Stones 16 LP Mono boxset is due for release on the 30th September,2016.The set will be available on vinyl,CD,Standard Digital and True HD  in 96/24,192/24 and DSD and totals 156 tracks,56 of which have never been heard in Mono by "the Digital People."

As with The Beatles Mono releases,between 1963 and 1969 when albums were originally released,the Mono mixes were considered more important since that's how most kids listened both on the radio and at home.The Mono Rolling Stones albums have a directness and impactful sound quality arguably lacking in the more disjointed stereo mixes.The earliest records were never released in Stereo.Original Monos in good condition are exceptionally collectible.

Bob Ludwig mastered the albums at Gateway.The LPs will be pressed at GZ Media in the Czech Republic,the company that did an excellent job with previous Rolling Stones' boxsets.
