Unison Research

Unison Research was founded in 1987 with a devotion to continuing research of high performance and high quality standards in the audio reproduction. This has resulted in Unison Research being recognised as the Italian leader in the production of tube amplifiers and among the top ten in Europe.


Form the beginning, Unison Research's goal has been to convey pleasure by listening to music. They have focused their experience on the production of valves and the design of hybrid electronics.
Valve amplifiers are a mystery to all that rely on a transistor amplifier's specifications to judge performance. Valve amplifiers are truly about listening... and then it all makes sense. "richness, power and tenderness" are terms that What HiFi magazine uses in their review of the S6 integrated amplifier.


Conventional Wisdom says that valve amplifiers son smooth, warm and soft. Great designs such as the S6 prove things don't have to be that way.
