CLASSICALLY MODERN THREE-WAY DESIGN

Continuing Wharfedale’s tradition of three-way speaker systems, combining vintage aesthetics with leading technology. The Linton 85th Anniversary Speakers feature meticulously crafted, hand-veneered cabinets and inset baffles with traditional cloth grilles.  They're balanced with advanced componentry for a performance that is as refined as it is faithful to the Linton legacy.

DETAILED THREE-WAY DRIVER ARCHITECTURE

Wharfedale’s woven Kevlar cones mounted on rigid die-cast chassis replace paper & polymer cones.  Linton's 85th bass is managed by a robust Kevlar woofer, while a dedicated midrange driver (in its very own chamber), deliver lifelike vocals.  This works hand in hand with the woven textile dome tweeter ensuring crisp, extended high frequencies.

Finally the crossover design is computer aided & optimised, the bass units are reflex loaded by two rear ports and so the Linton looks every bit a classic, but inside it's as contemporary as it gets.
